File Manager

The File Manager is used to manage all the files associated with or referenced by the content on the web site.  From the file manager you can edit various aspects of the file, upload additional files, or select them for use inside a module.

You can use the input box near the top of the window to filter or search for a file, or use the page links to move between pages.  You may resort the list by clicking on a column title to sort, or reverse the sort on that column.

Clicking on the File Name displays a preview and information about the file such as the owner, file type, height & width of a graphic, file size, and the url to the file.

Clicking on the Title, or the blank area in the Title column, allows you to edit the Title used for this file.  This is what will be displayed as the "title" of the file when used as web content.

Clicking on the alt, or the blank area in the alt column, allows you to edit the alt title used for this file.  This is what will be displayed in place of the file or used as a pop-up description when used as web content.

Clicking on the box in the column, allows you to set whether the file is available publicly.

Clicking on the action will select the file and send it's name back to the file selector.  It does not function if the file manager wasn't displayed as a result of a "file request" action.

Clicking the action will bring up the Pixidou online image editor to perform some minor graphic editing.  The icon will be disabled if the file is not a graphic.

Clicking the delete action will delete the file from the file manager.
